Marc Strandquist Memorial Scholarship

Marc Strandquist

Scholarship For Fastener Training Week

Marc Strandquist worked 37 years in the fastener industry. He was known for his industry knowledge, strategic perspective, leadership, and business acumen. Marc started his career in the fastener industry as a salesman in 1986 and worked his way up to the CEO of two different global fastener companies during his career. During his career he accomplished a lot, but he prided himself on creating positive work cultures and employee engagement. Marc had a drive to mentor and guide people in their careers and helped many people develop and grow in their careers.

Marc held many positions over the years but one of his favorites was his time as President of the National Fastener Distribution Association (NFDA).

Our hope with the Marc Strandquist scholarship is to help continue that drive for knowledge and growth into the next generation of fastener professionals.

The Marc Strandquist Memorial Scholarship Fund is proud to offer one scholarship for Fastener Training Week each year (valued at $2,800 each).
