TFC, an AFC Industries Company and leading provider of vendor managed inventory solutions and technical engineering products, has made a further acquisition in the O-Rings and Seals market, acquiring Midlands, UK based Supaseal. TFC had already acquired EAP Seals located in Manchester in April 2023 and this move adds to TFC’s market share in rubber sealing products and strengthens the technical components category. UK Based -Diploma PLC (“Diploma” or the “Group”), the international value-add distribution group announced the proposed acquisition of Peerless Aerospace Fastener LLC of Farmingdale, NY a market-leading distributor of specialty fasteners into the US and European aerospace markets for ca. £236m ($300m). MARC STRANDQUIST MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR FASTENER TRAINING WEEK has been announced by the NFDA and the Strandquist family. Marc worked for 37 years in the fastener industry. He was known for his industry knowledge, strategic perspective, leadership, and business acumen. Marc started his career in the fastener industry as a salesman in 1986 and worked his way up to the CEO of two different global fastener companies during his career. Marc’s family hopes this scholarship will help continue that drive for knowledge and growth into the next generation of fastener professionals. The Marc Strandquist Memorial Scholarship Fund will offer one scholarship for Fastener Training Week each year (valued at $2,800 each).
