Today Emerald announced that it has acquired the National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo (NIFMSE) from the show’s co-owners and fastener industry leaders, Jim Bannister and Mike McGuire. Spanning several decades, the show has brought together global manufacturers and distributors of industrial fasteners, precision formed parts, machinery tooling, and other related services with distributors and sales representatives along the distribution chain. The event’s most recent expo, which took place at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas in late October, featured 600 exhibiting companies from almost a dozen countries and buyers from 38 nations worldwide.
David Loechner, Chief Executive Officer of Emerald Expositions believes that NIFMSE aligns with Emerald’s most sought-after events, showing displays of strong underlying market fundamentals, attendance appeal, experienced leadership, and industry value. Mike McGuire commented saying the, “recent show was the largest and strongest event ever, with over 100 new exhibiting companies,” and that, with Emerald’s expertise, the show should reach “greater heights for both exhibitors and attendees.” Jim Bannister echoes, the sentiments of Mike McGuire, feeling pride in how far the show has come and delighted to see the show continually grow with all Emerald Expositions has to offer.
