Manufacturing Talk Radio ( , for the second consecutive year, conducted live radio broadcasts every day from their FABTECH booth, N14000, located near the entrance to the North Hall.

The booth has been configured to hold an audience that will be able to view and hear the interviews as they are being conducted and broadcast live.  Some of the scheduled interviewees are people who will be either keynote or special panelist presenters which makes this an excellent opportunity to hear messages you may have missed if your schedule kept you from attending the special events.

For example, on Monday they’ll kick off with NASCAR legend, Rusty Wallace, who will also be the opening day keynote speaker on the subject of Running a Winning Organization.  They’ll interview show management representatives who will talk about some of the show highlights, and they will delve into 3D printing technology which is being featured at FABTECH for the first time this year through interviews with Carl Dekker of Met-L-Flo and Bob Markley of 3rd Dimension Industrial 3D Printing. Carl and Bob are both featured presenters on the panel titled: What Additive Manufacturing/3-D Printing Means for the Metal Fabrication Industry.

Tuesday interviews include Jay Monahan, SAP Director-Global Shop Floor for Dell on the subject of Enterprise Security Risks as well as Karen Kerr, Director of Advanced Manufacturing for GE Ventures who will talk about Innovation in the Future of Work.  Jay is moderating an executive panel on Tuesday on the same subject and Karen is the Wednesday keynote speaker.  In addition, looking beyond the show floor to the economic conditions that impact the manufacturing sector, Mfg Talk Radio will interview Dr. Chris Kuehl, the economic analyst for the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, who always has insightful commentary on the global elements that drive decision-making at the corporate and consumer levels. Other guests are still to be announced.

Mfg Talk Radio is hosted by Lewis Weiss, president of All Metals & Forge Group, a New Jersey manufacturer of open die forgings and seamless rolled rings.  Executive producer and co-host is Tim Grady, a senior strategist and business advisor for manufacturing.  With a combined 70 years of manufacturing expertise, their approach to interviews is insightful and based in reality.   Join the audience at Booth N14000 while you’re at FABTECH and listen to the lively discussions.
