According to PE HUB Stanley Black & Decker has retained an adviser to test the market for the sale of its engineered fastening business in 2025. The sale of the engineered fastening group would be the third divestment of non-core assets since 2022.

The St. Louis Federal Reserve Producer Price Index MCKA FRED for the Commodity: Bolts, Nuts, Screws, Rivets, and Washers increased slightly in August to 330.889 up from the July reading of 330.364. The acronym is FRED short for Federal Reserve Economic Data, FRED is an online database consisting of hundreds of thousands of economic data time series from scores of national, international, public, and private sources.
