While the manufacturing sector struggles to entice younger people and the workforce steadily becomes too old to operate, some businesses are given a new lease on life by fresh graduates.
One such organisation is Icon Aerospace Technology, part of Icon Polymer: an industry specialist in the manufacture of polymer composite products for aerospace, transport, energy, and industrial.
Icon is doing its best to build a talent bridge by forming links with the academic world, due to the remarkable success of one young engineer who started as a graduate in September last year.
