LAS VEGAS, NV – June 6, 2019 – Nominees are now being accepted for the 2019 Hall of Fame and Young Fastener Professional of the Year Awards, which annually honor professionals who have made significant contributions to the fastener industry during the annual awards ceremony at the International Fastener Expo (IFE), Sept. 17-19 in Las Vegas, NV.
The Young Professional of the Year is awarded to professionals, aged 40 or younger, who already have an unimpeachable record of integrity and respect in the fastener industry. The Hall of Fame recognizes professionals who have made lasting inputs to the fastener industry on a national or global scale, including but not limited to inventors, business leaders, educators and more.
The 2018 winners of the Hall of Fame were Bob Sachs, XL Screw Corporation, and Robbie Gilchrist, Capital Marketing, and the 2019 winners of the Young Fastener Professional Award were Peggy Hsieg and Jun Xu, Brighton-Best International. The awards are administered by the International Fastener Expo selection committee, and are selected based on the merit of the nominee, not by the number of nominations.
Nominations are due by July 19, 2019, and winners will be recognized with a commemorative plaque at the IFE Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at the Sessions Corner on the show floor. Both online nomination forms are now available at www.fastenershows.com.
