Ever wonder how a bolt or nut is made? Friday November 12th the Fastener Training Institute and Industrial Fasteners Institute are offering a new live, two-hour virtual training course on the different manufacturing processes that most bolts, screws and nuts go through. The webinar will introduce the world of threaded fastener manufacturing. The course traces the development of bolts, screws, and nuts from their humble beginnings as coiled metal wire through thread rolling, heat treating and plating. Participants will have a better understanding of common terms, the process steps, and the machines used to make these types of fasteners.
