The National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo (NIFMSE), the nation’s largest industry expo, has opened the nominations for the 2016 “Young Fastener Professional of the Year” award. The award recognizes and honors an individual forty and under who has made significant contributions to the betterment of the fastener industry. These contributions are not solely based upon personal accomplishments, rather their demonstration of fastener industry advocacy, awareness, emerging involvement, education and leadership.

The chosen recipient will be recognized at this year’s National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo show, receive a commemorative plaque and have the option to select a fastener industry scholarship to be the recipient of a $500 donation.

Nominations close on March 28. Should nominations be received after March 28, they will be taken into consideration for the 2017 nominees.
