Industrial Supply Company Announces New Chief Executive Officer
Industrial Supply Company is pleased to announce that Jessica Yurgaitis is its new Chief Executive Officer. With over a quarter-century at the company, Yurgaitis is a long-time member of Industrial Supply’s Executive Team. As CEO, she replaces Chris Bateman, who retired in June. Currently the Vice Chair of the Industrial & Safety–U.S. Division of Affiliated Distributors, and a former Board Member of the Industrial Supply Association, Yurgaitis is well known in the industry. Over the years, she has formed lasting relationships with both customers and suppliers, which allow Industrial Supply to meet its customers’ needs.
Randy Evans, Co-Chairman of Industrial Supply’s Board of Directors, noted that he and the entire Board have complete confidence that Yurgaitis is the best person to ensure the company’s future success, and uphold its core values of delivering innovative solutions and superior customer service.
“Not only does Jessica have an intimate knowledge of our business model, but she also is deeply committed to personalized customer service and strong vendor relationships, both of which set us apart from other suppliers,” said Evans.
Yurgaitis looks forward to expanding her role in the company. “We have an incredible leadership team in place, and are well-situated to meet our customers’ needs, no matter what the future brings,” said Yurgaitis. The great-granddaughter of Industrial Supply’s founder, Rudy Orlob, Yurgaitis is part of the fourth generation of company leadership, and she continues the company’s legacy as a family-run business.

“We don’t just provide a place for people to work, we provide a place for people to grow.” Jessica Yurgaitis is a great granddaughter of the founder of Industrial Supply Company, Inc. based out of Salt Lake City and part of the fourth generation of leadership. As CEO of Industrial Supply, Jessica is responsible for all supplier programming, supplier business strategy and the company’s marketing and advertising programs. Along with these responsibilities she is tasked with building and executing the company’s E-commerce strategy.
Jessica has been recognized by Utah Business Magazine as one of the “30 Women to Watch” and currently serves on the Education Foundation for the Industrial Supply Association after completing a 3-year term as a Board Member. She is currently serving on the AD Industrial and Safety Board of Directors and won the MDM Women in Distribution award in 2021. Recently, Jessica received the “2023 Women in Supply Chain” award. Jessica is married with four children and enjoys skiing, hiking, cycling and spending time with her family.
