Economic activity in the manufacturing sector contracted in October for the seventh consecutive month and the 23rd time in the last 24 months, say the nation’s supply executives in the latest Manufacturing ISM® Report On Business®. The Manufacturing PMI® registered 46.5 down from 47.2 in September and was the lowest reading since July 2023.

NEFCO announced the acquisition of Sheinberg Tool Co., Inc. of Corpus Christi, TX. This strategic acquisition marks their ninth since 2022 and further expands their network to 43 locations, including four in Texas.
NEFCO announced the acquisition Total Tool Supply, Inc.! Their largest acquisition to date and marks their tenth acquisition since 2022 and the fourth in 2024. With the addition of Total Tool’s 16 branch locations, they have now expanded their reach to 59 locations across 28 states.
