Young Fastener Professionals welcome Bill Derry (Field Fastener), Bruce Wheeler (Star Stainless Screw Company) & Adam Pratt (Sherex Fastening Solutions) to a panel discussion entitled “Beyond the Speech.” Bill (HOF ’17) and Bruce (HOF ’16) have been recognized by the International Fastener Expo as Hall of Fame recipients, while Adam Pratt (YFPA ’17) was recognized as Young Fastener Professional of the year. Recipients are allotted a short time slot at the Award Ceremony every year for an acceptance speech, but we here at YFP want to learn more from (and about) them! So, we decided to have these industry trailblazers sit on a panel, hosted by Eric Dudas of Fully Threaded Radio, to get them know them better…beyond the speech!
Partnered with our fellow fastener associations, the International Fastener Expo is proud to present a new 2 ½ day conference track that includes a full day of educational sessions on Day 1 as well as various mini 30-minutes sessions, sponsored by the Fastener Training Institute and Pacific-West Fastener Association, on the show floor during the exhibit dates. The mini 30-minutes sessions are free for registered attendees and exhibitors.

The FCH Sourcing Network has teamed up with the Fastener Training Institute for a fourth year to announce the promotion and selection of a scholarship candidate who will be awarded full tuition to the Fastener Training Institute course, “Fastener Training Week”. Once completed, the course qualifies students to sit for the Certified Fastener Specialist exam, a distinguished industry credential. The Fastener Training Institute and Fully Threaded Radio will give away the scholarship to “Fastener Training Week” and the winner will be announced during the Hall of Fame awards ceremony.
